OUTRAGEOUS CHOCOLATE BREAD
Turn that pancake mix into a Chocolaty treat, satisfy your sweet tooth and get your protein fix all at the same time.. Moist, sweet and delicious this Chocolate Bread will fool your tastebuds !!
4 extra large eggs
285g light sour cream or fat free Greek yoghurt
56g melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
240g FlapJacked Cinnamon Apple Protein Pancake Mix
85g brown sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
95g unsweetened cocoa
Serving Size: 1/2 inch slice
Preheat oven to 180°C or gas mark 4. In a medium bowl combine the dry ingredients: FlapJacked pancake mix, sugar, bicarbonate of soda and cocoa. In another medium bowl using an electric mixer, combine the wet ingredients and mix on medium - high speed for 2 minutes until well blended. Using a spoon or spatula gently fold in wet and dry ingredients. The mix will seem a little thick. Spoon the mixture into a lightly greased 25 x 12cm inch bread tin and bake for 40 minutes or until a wooden tooth pick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Serve hot or cooled. ENJOY!
